Hi,
It has been a busy summer. Sydney went to summer school and got the units she needed to complete her freshman year, and is excited to start at her new school this fall as a sophomore. Kalie is all registered for Sacramento State and is starting at the end of August. She has decided to live at home the 1st semester since her schedule is pretty easy. Kyle & Zoe are getting ready to start school this fall, Kyle will be in kindergarten and Zoe will be in 1st grade.
Kalie had to go to the Dr today to schedule surgery to have her tonsils removed, that will probably happen towards the beginning of August. Sydney is keeping the dentist in business, she had her braces removed and there were quite a few cavities in between teeth. & the rest of us are fine!
We went on vacation to Capitola for 6 days, rented a house not to far from the beach and had a great time.
Other than that, same routine, work, work, work!!
Hope everyone is well!

Kalie's Graduation is right around the corner....

Kalie is graduating high school on 5/28 and accepted Sacramento State as her college choice and she will live in the dorms. We are so proud of her!
Today is Kyle's Gotcha Day. This is the day we finally met Kyle and were able to adopt him. We celebrated with cupcakes and squirt guns! I attached some pictures of Then and Now.
We are all doing well. Take care

18 years ago....Happy Birthday Kalie

It seems so unreal, 18 years ago, I was a 21 year old getting ready to go into labor with our first daughter, and first born. I was a very confident, set in my ways kind of person. One morning, I went into labor, went to the hospital with Micky, and 4 hours later, we had a beautiful little girl named Kalie, 6 pounds 5 ounces. And that is how we started.
Now our daughter, Kalie, is turning 18. People always tell you that the time goes by fast, but really, it is hard to look back and realize where all that time went. I remember her 1st day of kindergarten vividly, and now she is a Senior in high school. We see a very confident, strong minded, responsible young lady, and we couldn't be any prouder of her than we are right now.
By no means are we done raising her, this is just another great milestone. This is the first of our four children to hit this important time in their life. Adulthood....wow.
So tonight we will celebrate her birthday with ten of her best friends and just enjoy her. Soon she will be off to college and then on to a new chapter in her life.
Kalie, you are one of the joys in our life & we could not imagine life without you!
Happy 18th Birthday!

Homecoming

Last night was homecoming & Galt HS played Union Mine HS in an awesome game, it went into triple OT and Galt ended up winning. The kids in the stands runshed the basketball team on the court! It was a great game.
Kalie was a princess for Homecoming and her good friend, Chyna Cole was crowned Homecoming Queen, she is a great girl and an awesome athlete.
Happy Chinese New Year! We are going to Micky's familys house tonight for a traditional chinese dinner.

It has been a busy month....
Happy New Year & Gun Hay Fat Choy!
Wow, where has the time gone....I haven't even had a chance to update about Christmas. We had a good Christmas, although I was home sick with a bad case of bronchitis. We stayed home on Christmas Day and the kids just played with their new stuff. Kalie received an Apple Mac Book, Sydney received a 26"LCD TV for her room, and Kyle & Zoe received scooters. We have had great weather the last week and the 2 little ones were able to ride their scooters and play outside.
Zoe actually learned how to ride her bike without her training wheels last weekend.
Micky & I have been good, just busy at work. We are planning my birthday cruise in November, so if you are interested in going, let me know.
Micky is going to celebrate his 45th birthday on 1/27! Happy Birthday!!
Kalie was nominated as a Princess for Winter Homecoming and is running for Homecoming Queen. I will let you know how it turns out next week! She is very excited!
We hope all is well with everyone, and wish the best 2009 to all.
Love,
The Ma's
