We celebrated Kyle's 4th birthday yesterday and he had a lot of friends and family over for his party. We had a reptile party and we hired "Party Animals" from Placerville to come over and show the kids all different snakes and lizards. The kids loved it, they got to touch the snakes and hold a couple of them. We are planning a trip to Disneyland later this month, the kids are excited. Scroll down to the bottom of this blog for more pics of the party.

Labor Day Weekend
We had a nice Labor Day weekend. We just stayed around the house and BBQ several times. We took Kyle & Zoe to the Train Museum in Old Sacramento on Monday, and they also went on a train ride. I think Micky & I were more interested in the trains than the little ones were. Kalie & Sydney weren't interested in going. They spent the weekend with friends and made smores Saturday night by the fire pit.
I posted Kalie's Senior picture proof. This picture is for the yearbook, she will take her other Senior pictures later this year or early next year. Kalie is interested in the guitar lately, luckily I picked one up at a garage sale about 5 years ago and had it stored in the shed. She has a couple of friends that play and she has been practicing. Kyle now wants a little guitar for himself.
Everyone is in school and having a great time. Kyle is playing soccer every Saturday, although he says it is too much running for him. He makes us laugh, he barely moves out there! We have so much fun watching him & his teammates.
Talk Soon!

1st Day of Kindergarten!
Zoe started kindergarten Monday and she had a great time, and Kyle started pre-kindergarten. They were excited to go back to school after staying home with big sister Kalie over the summer. Aren't these two too cute! Kalie & Sydney start school August 13, so they have a little summer left. I got a new position in Sacramento with PG&E and I start on Friday, 8/1. My commute will be much shorter instead of traveling to Concord everyday. Micky & I are doing good and enjoying watching the kids grow!

Capitola - 4th of July
We just got home from Capitola where we spent the 4th of July weekend with our family, including my Mom and her friend Bob, & my sister, her husband Brett and their 2 kids. We had a great time and had a beautiful house to stay at, too bad it wasn't closer tho the beach.
The kids had a great time at the beach and the adults had a good time playing an outdoor game called "Washers".
We hope all is well & take care!

Happy 5th Birthday Zoe!

We celebrated Zoe's birthday yesterday with friends and family. The kids had a great time with the ponies and swimming in the afternoon.
School is out for Kalie and she is going to watch Kyle & Zoe for the summer. She needed a summer job, but with her softball schedule, it is hard for her to work. We came up with the idea that would save us time and money and actually helps Kalie out with a job.
Zoe celebrated her pre-school promotion last week, and they put on a school performance. She will start Kindergarten this year!
Sydney has 8th grade graduation on Thursday and she is still participating in the swim team, but no meets yet.
I transferred to a new department with PG&E and I start working in Concord on Monday. I will have a 1 hour commute, but I am grateful for the change. Hopefully I will be in Sacramento within a few months. I want to work in Sacramento, but I had to change job titles and work in Concord for a time.
Micky has been busy with work and the kids. He is doing well.
Take care,
Micky & Diane
